I just wanted to say a huge thank you for our holiday break at The Rash Fri 28th July to Wed 2nd Aug. The cottage far exceeded expectations and was so spacious and cosy and clean. We all had a wonderful time playing board games and hide and seek inside when it rained and going out for long walks when it was dry.Angela and Rachael, Whitstable, Kent

What a wonderful location and house. We enjoyed waking up to cows and pheasants munching outdoors, seen through our windows, and the phenomenal walks and drives. House renovations are great. Hope to return!Kim and Pete, from Lewes, Asheley and Marcia, from Massachusetts
Had another great week in this lovely cottage. Weather was kind and we were here for both Reeth and Muker Shows. Food @ Punch Bowl, Low Row, and Farmer’s Arms, Muker, excellent. New patio and table/chairs were a lovely addition. Until next year…The Perrys and the Wrigleys
We’ve had a great week with good weather and lots of trips to see the sights. We enjoyed Bowes Museum, driving over the moors on the way to Aysgarth Falls and Hawes, and several good walks. Good pub grub at Farmer’s Arms, Muker, and excellent beer – well worth trying the local ones. The Rash is very comfortable, many thanks.Nick, Laura, Joey and Ben Moss, Chesham
A lovely house, lovely situation. We enjoyed walking at Muker – Keld, hiring bikes from Fremington. Carvery Sunday lunch at the Punch Bowl, Low Row, was good – great desserts. We have visited the Dales for many years, usually to Wensleydale. Very nice to be in Swaledale. Good running as well, if you like hills! The Goodwin family, Manchester
Our first visit to the Yorkshire Dales and wow! Swaledale has entranced us. We’ve nailed five of the northerly gills and dragged the kids up several decent climbs. The Rash has been a lovely bolthole to return to each day. An amazing, idyllic house in a stunning location. Beautiful walks, warm atmosphere and generally wonderful place. The Carrs and the Mudds, Bisley
