Overview
A gorgeous country cottage in the tiny hamlet of The Clints, just outside Marske, in Swaledale, Apple Tree Cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated.
The cottage sleeps 4, in two double bedrooms, and has been lovingly restored and refurbished with attractive furnishings with an eye for style. Apple Tree Cottage has charm and atmosphere, along with all mod cons, such as dishwasher, washer/dryer and freezer.
The hamlet has only five cottages, and is surrounded by wonderful countryside (great walking!) only a few miles from Richmond and Reeth. The cottage has a light and airy feel, with a charming dining area overlooking the lovely village green directly to the front, and outside seating, too. A 2person one bedroom 10% discount is available on bookings, including short breaks; contact Judith to arrange.
You’ll sit on the bench marvelling at the total peace and quiet, relaxing with a glass of chilled wine. A marvellous cottage for a lovely holiday in beautiful Swaledale!

A two person (one bedroom) 10% discount is available all year round, including for short breaks. The discount cannot be booked online, so please contact Judith to arrange it. Week bookings run from Saturday to Saturday, but if we can fit in other bookings with different start dates, that’s fine (reserve online or give us a call on 01748 886366). To see price and availability, click the “Book Now” button (you have not committed yourself to a booking by doing so).
Short breaks are available (see FAQs). Please contact us to confirm a short break booking, or for a price for a different number of nights.
You can pay by cheque, BACS or by card. A deposit of £90 is due on booking, including a £10 booking fee. Please note, deposit and booking fee are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
