Overview

A charming cottage, orginally converted from a stable (hence the name!) in the tiny hamlet of Crackpot, sleeping 3, in king and single bedrooms (plus travel cot for a baby).

There are lovely views over surrounding roofs over Swaledale.

The Stable benefits from central heating, and a multi-fuel stove in the living room, starter pack of fuel included. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a king with views, and a single, also with views. The cotttage has a spacious shower room, with a large shower enclosure.

The Stable welcomes one small to medium-sized dog, and has a private garden, although not fully enclosed, so your dog must be on a lead when outside.

Free wifi, and a well-equipped kitchen mean the cottage is an ideal bolthole from the cares of workaday life.

Week bookings from Saturdays only.

Highly recommended as a lovely place for a couple or small family to stay! The cottage was very nicely appointed and decorated, warm and cosy with comfy beds, all kitchen supplies needed, plenty of space, Netflix and beautiful views down the Dale. The location was brilliant; just driving around the area was a treat with stunning scenery everywhere we went, good pubs and cafes with home made food and good service. Our baby hates showers so that was the only downside for us but otherwise things were pretty baby-friendly. The owners were friendly and helpful and we appreciated the welcome pack including some delicious Wenslydale cheese.Lauren
