Overview

A lovely cottage in the heart of Gunnerside, sleeping up to 6 people, close to pub and tearoom.

Fell View is deceptively spacious (in estate agent-speak!), with 3 good-sized bedrooms and family bathroom upstairs, and living room, with dining room and kitchen off.

The living room has a cosy multi-fuel stove, for which the first basket of logs and bucket of coal is provided. The cottage has overnight storage heaters throughout and is charmingly decorated and furnished.

While there is no garden, the cottage overlooks the lovely grassy island, with its anniversary rose arch and benches where you can sit out and enjoy the sun on your face!

There are lots of great walks direct from the door, including Gunnerside Ghyll and meadow walks where the buttercups look stunning. The cottage is warm, cosy and comfortable, an ideal base for a relaxing holiday in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Swaledale is the most beautiful of all the Dales and guests return year after year to this lovely spot. Week bookings are Friday to Friday. One small dog welcome, strictly not on furniture or upstairs (please use stairgate to ensure your dog does not go upstairs).
