Overview
A lovely cottage in the heart of Gunnerside, sleeping up to 6 people, close to pub and tearoom.
Fell View is deceptively spacious (in estate agent-speak!), with 3 good-sized bedrooms and family bathroom upstairs, and living room, with dining room and kitchen off.
The living room has a cosy multi-fuel stove, for which the first basket of logs and bucket of coal is provided. The cottage has overnight storage heaters throughout and is charmingly decorated and furnished.
While there is no garden, the cottage overlooks the lovely grassy island, with its anniversary rose arch and benches where you can sit out and enjoy the sun on your face!
There are lots of great walks direct from the door, including Gunnerside Ghyll and meadow walks where the buttercups look stunning. The cottage is warm, cosy and comfortable, an ideal base for a relaxing holiday in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Swaledale is the most beautiful of all the Dales and guests return year after year to this lovely spot. Week bookings are Friday to Friday. One small dog welcome, strictly not on furniture or upstairs (please use stairgate to ensure your dog does not go upstairs).

Booking details
Week bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in 2021, but from 2022, week bookings will be Friday to Friday. To see price and availability, click the “Book Now” button (you have not committed yourself to a booking by doing so). A 2 person discount (one bedroom) of 10% is available on week bookings (sorry, not during peak periods). The discount cannot be booked online, so please contact Judith to arrange it.
Short breaks are available (see FAQs). Please contact us to confirm a short break booking, or for a price for a different number of nights.
You can pay by cheque, BACS or by card. A deposit of £90 is due on booking, including a £10 booking fee. Please note, deposit and booking fee are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
